5th & 6th year Technology Trip

5th & 6th year technology students enjoyed an educational and fun day out in Sligo where they spent time in both the AIM centre of technology and PEM, a manufacturer and product testing facility. During their time spent in AIM, the students created their own automative robots, learning about coding and computer programming. Whilst in the PEM building, students were brought on an interactive tour of the facility, observing destructive testing, and how plastic products are produced using technology such as 3D printing. A big thank you is extended to Eoin O Donnchu and Údarás na Gaeltachta who sponsored the event through the Data2sustain project.
